A.J. Shaw

A.J. (Andy Jim) Shaw, 39, of Haskell, TX was born May 12, 1986 to Randy and Lisa Shaw. He married the love of his life, Sarah Davidson Shaw, December 29, 2007, also in Haskell.

Their son, Audie Shaw, was A.J.’s right hand man. A.J. loved playing games and camping with his family, wood working, tinkering on his favorite firetruck and helping anyone who needed an extra hand.

A.J. worked for TxDOT in Anson, TX as the Jones County Assistant Supervisor. He was a valuable member of the Haskell Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Audie M. and Wanda Stocks, Bill and Vivian Shaw; and his father-in-law, Keith Davidson.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Shaw of Haskell; son, Audie Maxwell Shaw of Haskell; brother, Jason Shaw and wife, Sara of Abilene; parents, Randy and Lisa Shaw of Haskell; mother-in-law, Carol Davidson of Loving; sister-in-law, Opal Seales and husband, John of Bronte; brother-in-law, Brian Davidson and wife, Jenny of Loving; brother-in-law, Marty Davidson and wife, Lori of Westlake; many nieces, nephews, brothers in the Haskell VFD and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2nd, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, TX. Service will be Thursday, July 3rd, at 2:00pm at Morrison Funeral Home with burial to follow at Markley Cemetery.
