Alvin Edgar Holland

Alvin Edgar Holland, 86, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Graham Church of God. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Alvin was born January 13, 1935 in Loving to the late Edgar Lee and Maude (Strickland) Holland. He married Patsy Youngblood April 12, 1963 in Graham and she preceded him in death June 14, 2018. Alvin was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Hexcel for 28 years and was a bus driver for GISD. He was a member of the Graham Church of God. Alvin loved football, baseball, plants and gardening.

Survivors include: daughter, Allison Morton and husband, David of Fort Worth; sons, Ricky Holland and wife, Dorothy of Graham and Jason Holland of Paradise; grandchildren, Bridget Holland, Alex Holland, Sylvia Holland, Jacob Morton, Justin Morton, Zadie Holland and Ethan Holland; great grandchildren, Matthew Swift, Adian Swift, Scarlett Swift, Audrey Brown, Dahlia Ramos, and Maddie Ramos.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Holland.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
