Barbara Ann Proffitt-Arnold

We are sad to announce the passing of Barbara Ann (Ford) Proffitt-Arnold. She passed peacefully at Devotion Hospice in Conroe, Texas, on December 21, 2023.  We want to express our appreciation to the Devotion Team who made sure she was comfortable, loved and cared for during her last days.

Barbara was born on April 30, 1951 to Wanda (Proffitt) Ford and George Ford in Fort Worth Texas.  She loved gardening, reading, sing and crochet caps and blankets for preemie babies, and taking care of her family.  

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother Wanda, her husband Donnie and youngest daughter Stephanie.

She is survived by daughter Gretchen (Darin) Wallace Keyse and Heather (Michael) Wallace Worsham. Grandchildren Tylor Hall, Trae Hall, Seth Chapman, Joseph Hall, Justice Hall, Jay Keyse, Brittin Wallace, and Brandyn Keyse. She had 7 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on January 3, 2024 at 2:00pm at Proffitt Cemetery in Young County Texas.
