Barbara Hutto

Barbara Joveta Hutto, 85, passed away Saturday October 17, 2026 at her home in Marion, Texas. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday October 20, 2026 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery.

Joveta was born December 2, 1940 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to the late Melba Amanda (Buttrill) Langford and Alford William Langford. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Wyndell Hutto. Joveta was the former Western Regional Manager for Levis Straus and the floor manager of Falcon Industries in Graham. She loved the scriptures and spending time with her family and Christian brethren. Lovetta lived a life of setting an example for everyone to follow and she will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include; daughters, Samantha Witherspoon of Marion, TX. and Lynette Stover of Chicago, IL.; sisters, Melba Johnson of Alamogordo, NM. and Detta Schuler-Scates of Albuquerque, NM.; grandchildren, Joshua, Sabrina, and Shawn Witherspoon all of Marion, TX.; great grandsons, Seth and Christian Witherspoon of Conroe.

Joveta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Aaron Everett Hutto.
