Belle Nichols

Belle Teru Brown Nichols, 73, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday November 26, 2024 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mission Park Cemetery South in San Antonio, Texas. 

Belle was born September 9, 1951 in Abilene to the late Iris Imogene (Hill) Brown and Darwin Wayne Brown, Sr. She graduated from Graham High School. She received her Master of Arts Degree from University of Texas at San Antonio. Belle married Patrick D. Nichols, August 1, 1980 in Graham. He preceded her in death on September 7, 2000. Belle was a teacher for the San Antonio School District for 27 years. She returned to Graham where she was employed by the Graham ISD as a substitute teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was active in the choir. 

Survivors include; sister-in-law, Cheryl Brown and two nephews all of Utah; cousins, Larry Choate and Minnie Wilkes of Graham; Belle’s First Baptist Church Choir family. 

Belle was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Darwin Wayne Brown, Jr.
