Betty Fields, 91, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 in Fort Worth. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 11, 2025 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.
Betty was born October 31, 1934 in Electra to the late Dora (Benson) Davis and Claude Monroe Davis. She married Charlie Alvin Fields April 27, 1951 in Jacksboro. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1990. Betty was a longtime resident of Graham and worked in health care as a private sitter.
She was the heart and soul of our family, a devoted, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love knew no bounds. She filled our lives with laughter, warmth, and the joy of her company. She never missed a chance to dance, her spirit lighting up every celebration. She cherished her outings, always ready for an adventure but was also always ready to return home. Above all, she loved her family fiercely, reminding us with her signature phrase: "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck." Her legacy of love, joy and togetherness will forever live on in the family who was lucky enough to call her theirs.
Survivors include; son, Dicky Fields and wife Diane of Graham; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, Brandon, Crystal, Jeri, Justin, William, and Casey; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Faye Lewis of Wichita Falls and Linda O’Bannon of Mineral Wells.
Betty was preceded in death by sons, Jerry Fields and Bobby Fields; sisters, Maulsie Curbo, Jean Smith, and Martha Vincent; brothers, Cecil, Jesse, Ed, and Claude Davis.
Family Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday November 10, 2025 at Morrison Funeral Home.
