Billy "Neighbor" Rhodes

Billy “Neighbor” Rhodes, age 76, passed away in Fort Worth on Thursday, April 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held on May 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM in The Church of God on Remington in Graham, Texas.

Billy was born in Jack County, Texas on July 18, 1946 to the late Clifton Ernest and Lola Mae (Pippin) Rhodes. He worked in the oil field in his younger years. He had a successful lawn care business that he took much pride in. A strong work ethic got him though his working year with ease. He enjoyed anything outdoors but fishing the most. He loved spending time with his closest family and dear friends. He had a lasting impact on everyone he was close with and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Billie Jean Howell and husband Dustin of Graham, and Amy Sue Vogt and fiancée Paul Price of Graham; grandchildren, Cora, Alexa, Blake, and Kodi; siblings, Thelma Wilson, Mary Willems, John Rhodes, Charlie Rhodes, Boone Rhodes, and James Rhodes; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who called him Neighbor.

He was preceded in death by his parents along with siblings, Sally Dunlap, George Rhodes, Joe Rhodes, Robert Rhodes, and Jackie Rhodes.
