Boyd Armstrong

Boyd R. Armstrong, 95, passed away Tuesday October 13, 2026 in Mansfield. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 17, 2026 at Graham Church of God. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.

Boyd was born August 26, 1931 in Graham to the late Ethel Lee (Bell) Armstrong and Toy Edward Armstrong. He married Idella Farris, June 13, 1953 in Jacksboro. Boyd served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Boyd was a former employee of Hexcel Corporation and a member of Graham Church of God where he served as Church Clerk and Board member for several years.

Survivors include; wife of 73 years, Idella Armstrong of Mansfield; daughter, Elonda Green and husband Howard of Edmond, OK.; son, James Armstrong and wife Linette of Mansfield; grandsons, Toby Landon Green, Mitchell Ray Armstrong, and Alex Armstrong; seven great grandchildren; nephew Lin Barnett of Wichita Falls.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Toy Barnett, grandson, Jeremy Green.

Family Visitation will be Friday October 16, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
