Brent was born December 23, 1969 in Graham to the late Lonnie Bordon Lovern and Theresa Jane (Hinson) Riley. He married Mary Jane Botkin May 18, 1989 in Graham. Throughout his life Brent loved spending time with his brothers, friends, and family. He spent many relentless hours working on his trucks and tahoe. He loved a road trip where he could drive for hours and drink his coffee along the way. Camping, going to the lake to fish, and riding jet skis were among his favorite hobbies. Brent also enjoyed tending to cattle and grilling or smoking ribs late into the night. Last but not least he loved a good political debate and telling stories and welcoming his first and only grandchild Harvey.
Survivors include: wife, Mary Jane Lovern of Graham; daughters, Ashley Lovern and Elliott Wyall of Corpus Christi, Roxanne and Sam Kessler of Dallas; brothers, Sam and Lynn Lovern of Enid, Oklahoma, Twin brother Clent Lovern of Perrin, Lonnie Lovern of Possum Kingdom Lake and Jimmy Lovern of Graham; and grandchild, Harvey Kessler of Dallas. Along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
Memorials – We will be making a memory book. Instead of flowers we would like for those who are willing to write or type a memory they have of Brent. You can give these to us the day of the funeral.
