Buster "Buddy" Lee Moore

Buster “Buddy” Lee Moore, 80, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 28, 2021. Services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Center Assembly of God in Graham, TX. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home.

Buddy was born to Albert George Moore and Inez Davenport Moore on November 25, 1940, in Crane, Texas.  The family moved from Abilene to Graham in 1960.  Buddy opened Miracle Glass and Mirror of Graham in 1976.  After living in the Metroplex for several years, he and Laverne made their permanent home in Graham in 2000 and became members of Faith Center Assembly of God.  Buddy was employed by Graham Independent School District for several years.

Anyone who knew Buddy understood his passion for living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sharing Him with others.  He was always positive, jovial, humorous, generous and never met a stranger.  To say Buddy was an avid outdoorsman is an understatement.  He delighted in teaching the sport of hunting and fishing and the beauty of God’s creation, to his grandchildren and to the next generation.

Buddy’s survivors include:  His devoted wife of 63 years, Laverne; daughter Lisa Bonilla and husband Berry of Waxahachie;  daughter Andrea Schmid and husband Stefan of Lindale; grandson Casey and wife Mary of Mansfield; granddaughter Brittany and husband Mark of Waxahachie; grandson Christopher and wife Tamara of Germany; grandson Jordan and grandson Nate of Austin; step-grandson Brent of Austin; six great-grandchildren, Analise, Caden, Andrew, Kenzie, Nevio and Fynn; sister, Marilyn McMillan and husband Bobby of Lubbock; brother, John Moore of Dallas.    

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Roy Pat Moore, his sister, Karolyn Joyer, and step-grandson, Berry Bonilla.
