Caroline Roberta "Bobbie" Parkinson

Caroline Roberta "Bobbie" Parkinson, age 88, wife of the late "Parky" Parkinson passed away, peacefully, in Garden Terrace, Graham, Texas on Saturday, November 7, 2009. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in The First United Methodist Church.

She was born August 15, 1921 in Rockledge, PA. While living in Graham, Bobbie was a member of the First United Methodist Church and involved in the choir, United Methodist Women and the Samaritans. She taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and began The Grief Recovery Program. She and Parky were active members of the Commerative Air force and Lions Club. Bobbie was also a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, Ombudsman, and the Historical Commission.

Bobbie is survived by 3 daughters; Nancee Ann Parkinson and husband Juan Hernandez of Jermyn, TX; Carol Jo and husband Edward Cook of Clearwater, FL; and Ann Carolyn and husband John Funkey of Tesquesta, FL. She had 4 grandchildren, Cameron and Courtney Cook, William and Caroline Funkey.
