Dalton Brown

Albert Dalton Brown, 94, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026 in Graham. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 11 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery.

Dalton was born February 16, 1932 in the Tonk Valley Community near Graham to the late William Ray and Bessie (Brooks) Brown. He attended Tonk Valley School through the 8th grade, attended Graham High School 9th through 12th grade and graduated May of 1951. Dalton left graduation night for Dallas to be inducted into the US Navy. He spent the next four years as a participant in the Korean War being discharged in May of 1955. Dalton met Stella Faye Dake on a blind date in September of 1955 and they were married April 6, 1956 in Breckenridge.

Survivors include: wife, Faye Brown of Graham; daughter, Wanda Faye Hill and husband, Roy Dwayne of Runaway Bay; sister, Ina Dell Burkett of Graham; brother, Kenneth Brown of Graham; grandchildren, Brandon Cook and wife, Crystal, Lindsay Dougless and husband, Eric, Amber Tatum and husband, Jeff, and Matthew Brown and several great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Janice Branch of Bullard.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Brown, grandson, Nathan Cook, three brothers and two sisters.
