Darrell Edward Warren "Pa"
January 24, 1942 – June 19, 2026
Darrell Edward Warren, "Pa," passed away peacefully in WF surrounded by his family at the age of 84. He was a man who hated being inside, despised office work, and was happiest outdoors. He lived life entirely on his own terms.
Born on January 24, 1942, Pa graduated from Graham High School before attending college in Denton. When his dad got cancer, he returned home to Graham to help care for his parents. He married the love of his life, Amada, on July 29, 1989, and his family remained the center of his world.
Pa was one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet. He spent many years working for Burkett's before starting his own business, RAW Trucking, which he operated for about 15 years. Even through years of difficult health battles, he never let them slow him down.
He was beautifully stubborn, had a colorful vocabulary, and firmly believed there was a right way to do things (his way). Usually, he wasn't wrong. He was rarely seen without his overalls and one of his many hats.
Pa loved his land, his livestock, and his dogs. Even in his final days, he was still adding to the collection. His phone was filled with pictures of the animals he cared for.
More than anything, Pa loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and Pa who loved country music, old westerns, good conversation, and sharing a meal with the people he loved. He had a way of making people smile, and to know him was truly to love him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amada Warren; his sister, Barbara; his cousin Mary Ed Howard, his daughter, Amanda; his son, Tony and wife Courtney Ramirez; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating Pa's life will be July 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
