David Kenneth Durham

David Kenneth Durham went home to be with our Lord Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Wichita Falls. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2 p.m. in Southside Baptist Church in Olney.

He was born in Lamesa on June 17, 1947 to Homer and Farris Durham. He was 7th of 8 children and grew up in the Tahoka and O’Donnell area. After school he joined the Navy and served 4 years and 2 years in the reserves. He married Roxene Larned in Kingsland, Georgia on September 2, 1968. Our daddy spent most of his life being a welder and owning his own business. He loved being out on the water in his younger days water skiing and showing his family a good time on the water. He loved gardening, hunting and fishing too.

Survivors include: wife, Roxie Durham of Graham, son, Kevin Durham and wife, Mandy, two daughters, Kenda Noles of Olney and Khristie Berry and husband, Douglas of LaVernia, grandchildren, Khristie Noles and husband, Andy, Kimberly Guerra and husband, Ethen, Kevin, Konner, Kyle, Kassie and 6 great grandchildren, brother, Larry Durham and wife, Karon of New Home and several nieces and nephews with special mention of nephew, Brian Durham of Tahoka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Farris Durham, sisters, Pat Eaves, Betty Murley, Maxine Paris, Frances Durham, brothers, Sherman and Jeral Durham, nieces, Vickie Immel and Amy Durham and nephew, Danny Paris.
