Dee Poland

Orville “Dee” Poland, 82, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 in Graham. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 2 p.m. in Horizon Country Church in Olney.

Dee was born March 9, 1943 in Chico to the late Etta Lou (Moody) and Easton Poland. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Colleen (Hopman) Wagley October 22, 2022 in Medicine Park, Oklahoma. He was a trucker and rancher and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Dee loved animals and kids.

Survivors include: wife, Colleen Wagley Poland of Graham; daughters, Molly Juarez of Denton and Tammy Canida and husband, Danny of Wichita Falls; sister, Helen Taylor of Sunset; brother, Fred Poland of Graham; aunt, Lois Moody Hearne; grandchildren, Ashley, Vanessa, and Megan; several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by wives, Opal Poland and Lola Jean Poland and brother, Sid Poland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morrison Funeral Home in Dee’s name.

Visitation will be held at Horizon Country Church from 1 p.m. to service time on Thursday.
