Don Clark

Don Clark, 83, passed away Tuesday July 27, 2021 in Graham. Funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 31, 2021 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Don was born February 28, 1938 in Graham to the late Annie Cox Clark and Thomas Earl Clark. He married Shirley Clark August 18, 1983. They traveled all 50 states together, they enjoyed dancing and being with friends and especially family.

Don was a longtime resident of Fort Worth where he was the General Manager of C.D. Harnett Food Service. Don loved his job before retiring in 2001. He was so proud of all the people that worked for and with him. Simply said, Don was a Sales Man and one of the best! Don was a member and Deacon of his church he loved his church and family. Don was so proud of his entire family because of the love they shared and the special bond. Don was and is simply “Uncle Don.”

Survivors include; wife, Shirley Clark of Graham; daughter, Renee Clark of Midland; sons, Danny Clark and wife Barbara of Big Spring, Alan Ables and wife Jennifer of Franklin, TN., Mark Ables and wife Mary of Fort Worth; sisters, Ethel Wooldridge of Graham, Betty Wilson of Waxahachie, Ida Weir and husband Truett of Jacksboro; brother, Lee Clark of Sun City; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by a grandson, Cole Fowler, brothers, John, Noel, T.E., and Sam Clark, sisters, Ima Nunley, Alta Day, Sue Decker, Rene Clay, Emma Clay and Bernice Webb.

Visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
