Doris Miller Cook

Doris Miller Cook, 88, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her home in Graham. Funeral will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Doris was born May 12, 1929 in Graham to the late G. L. “Lam” and Lila Fulp McSpadden Miller. She married Harrell F. Cook, May 16, 1948 in Graham. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1992. Doris was a lifetime resident of Graham and retired from Riggs Petroleum as a bookkeeper after 25 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and served as church secretary for many years. Doris was a member of Desk and Derrick Club and Royal Neighbors Lodge.

Survivors include; sons, Rodney Cook of Arlington and Brad Cook and wife, Brenda of Weatherford; sister, Pattie McClanahan and husband Roger of Graham; host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Animal Shelter of Young County.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
