Edith Grace Rich Murray

Edith Grace Rich Murray, 100, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 in Haltom City. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Grace was born to Edward and Luella Blair Rich on March 1, 1910 in Erath County near Duffau, Texas. She married James Emmett Murray on October 18, 1929 and he preceded her in death on May 17, 1972. Grace and Jim lived in Loving and Newcastle for many years where Jim worked in the oilfield. She moved to Fort Worth to live with her daughter and son-in-law about fifteen years ago.

Survivors include: son, Archie Lynn Murray; daughter, Lugean Murray Johnson; five grandsons and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Laurette Rich Nix; a nephew and four nieces.
