Edna Mae "Nan" Powers, 72, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 in Graham. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Edna was born on March 14, 1938 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to the late Whit and Margie Mae (Thompson) Bishop. She was a homemaker and moved to Graham in 1997 from Comanche, Oklahoma. Edna enjoyed her kids and grandkids most in the world. Her hobbies were doing things for others and making her beaded jewelry and crosses. She loved to work in the yard and take care of her pets, dogs, squirrels, and birds. She was a true friend and a counselor to many.
Survivors include: son, Jack Little of Graham; daughters, Jana Linnabery and husband, Richard of Frisco and Vickie Milam of Graham; sisters, Pat Langford of Amarillo and LaRue Lancaster of Lake Jackson; brother, Jack Bishop of Las Vegas, Nevada grandchildren, Rick Linnabery and wife, Jennifer of Georgetown, Ashley Linnabery-Sotello and husband, John of Frisco, Corban Milam of Waco, Whitney Milam of Abilene, Hagen Little and Hannah Little both of Graham; great grandchildren, Dakota, Landon, and Annie Linnabery.
She was preceded in death by a step-father, Charlie Helms and a sister, Cynthia Fegley.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
