Esperanza Tarango Serrano

Esperanza Tarango Serrano, 93, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 in Graham.  Funeral mass will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Esperanza was born June 24, 1928 in Aldama, Mexico to the late Alejandra (Magallanes) and Incarnacion Tarango.  She married Sebastian Flores Serrano October 2, 1954 in Chihuahua, Mexico.  Her passions were her family, her garden and cooking.  She always had “enough” food or anyone who stopped by for a visit. And her love for the Lord and her family was the conviction and drive of her life. Her yard was always a show-stopping thing of beauty.

Survivors include: husband, Sebastian Flores Serrano of Graham; daughter, Ana Rogers and husband, George of Graham; granddaughters, Taylor Bennett and husband, Rhett of Fort Worth and Kelly Gant and husband, Andy of Burleson; great grandchildren, Asher Green, Grant Bennett, Belle Bennett, and Phoebe Gant.
