Fayetta Jorene Moore

Fayetta Jorene Moore, age 82, passed away in Graham on Saturday, December 2, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Jean Baptist Church on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Fayetta was born in Borger, Texas on September 14, 1941 to Joe and Irene Carothers. She grew up in the west Texas area. Fayetta spent many years serving others through working with Adult Protective Services, and cherished all those that she met.

Fayetta is survived by her daughters: Sharon Martin of Archer City, and Angela Cook and husband Rob of O’Donnell; sons: Bill Rushin and wife Therese of Tomball, and Brady Rushin and wife Kristi of Graham; grandchildren: Steven Beatty, Pattie Rushin, Evanna Odean, Jennifer Martin, Joe Ray Martin, Kati Martin, Chris Traylor, Jessica Rushin, Joe Rushin, Krista Prokopuk, and Jonathan Jones; 15 great grandchildren; and sister Debbie Brock of Tulia.

She was preceded in death by her first husband: LeeRoy Rushin, second husband: Joe Bill Moore, daughters: Leesha Rushin, and Temira Beatty, grandsons: Danny Beatty and Sammy Joe Rushin, great grandson: Tommy Martin, and siblings: Tommy Carothers, Joe Ray Carothers, and Kay Young.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on wheels or the Graham Humane Society.
