Frances Ann Lindsay

Frances Ann Lindsay, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ann was born on January 27, 1935, in Henrietta, Texas. She was the only child of the late Frances (Waggoner) and Clay Simmons.

Ann was raised in Olney, Texas, where she graduated from Olney High School before furthering her education at Texas Tech University. In the summer of 1955, she met Dick Lindsay, whom she married later that same year. For 70 years, Ann and Dick built a life together, from successfully operating multiple businesses to traveling the country in their motorhome. Their deep passion for family history motivated them to spend significant time tracing and preserving their family genealogy, a testament to their love for their roots that lives on in their children and grandchildren.

Ann is remembered for her generosity and unwavering love for her family. Whether it was her meticulous detail in crafting special jewelry pieces to gift to her daughters and granddaughters, or the way she could bring everyone together for family gatherings. Ann’s presence was always a source of comfort for her loved ones.

Survivors include; husband, Richard (Dick) Lindsay of Graham; daughters, Melissa Livingston and husband Joe Don, Kathy Lambden and husband Troy, and Becky Roberts and husband Max, all of Graham; grandchildren Casey Livingston, Missy Livingston, and David Clay, Mary Roberts, Anna Rogers and husband William, Allie Brown and husband John, and Abigail Livingston; and great-grandchildren, Joey Livingston, Emma and Caroline Rogers, and Will, Harry and Lilly Brown.
