Frances Hattie Vaughn, 92, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, in Graham, TX. A celebration of France’s life will be held at Morrison Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson. A visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral Home on Friday January 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Frances was born on August 6, 1933, to Ethelda Elizabeth (Clayton) Timmons and Daniel Milton Timmons in Graham, TX. She was a life-long resident of Graham, where she raised her family. She opened France’s Fabrics in 1969 and was the sole owner until her passing. Her passions included her store, the history of Graham and the surrounding area, and her family. She was thrilled to participate in the recording of the history of the area and contributing to the Young County Museum of History and Culture. Frances never met a stranger and had a contagious smile and exuberant spirit. Her family knew her home as a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
She is survived by her sons Daniel Vaughn and wife Jerri of Granbury and Russell Vaughn of Graham. She has four grandchildren: Elizabeth Perchard and husband Clint of Saginaw, Joshua Vaughn and wife Sarah of Dallas, Matthew Vaughn and wife Kimberly of Cedar Hill, and Jessica Bundrick and husband Larry of Graham. She had six great grandchildren: Alex Vaughn, Holley Perchard, Ethan, Kase, Kelly and Tyson Bundrick. Also survived by her two brothers Rocky Timmons and family of Graford and Alton Timmons and family of Perrin; and long-time friend Doyle Smith.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her sister Brenda Timmons.
