George R. Jones

George R. Jones, 80, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Graham. A Memorial service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

George was born April 5, 1936 in Menard to the late John Henry and Nora Cassandra (Ivy) Jones. He married Emma Maurine Stanley in 1958 in Breckenridge and she preceded him in death January 6, 2013. George retired from E&H Drilling and was a member of Country Road Fellowship.

Survivors include: daughters, Kathy Swartz and husband, Bryan of Dallas and Sandy Jones of Graham; son, Bub Allen Jones and wife, Dawn of Graham; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
