In Loving Memory of Gid Thomas Albertson, February 25, 1937 – June 23, 2026
With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Gid, Bubby, Bub or Tom, who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on June 23, 2026, at the age of 89
Today we celebrate the life of a wonderful father, a faithful Christian, and a man who loved God with all his heart. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find peace in knowing that he has been welcomed into the presence of his Savior, his Mom and Dad, brothers and sister, where there is no more pain, only everlasting joy.
My dad lived a life of faith, kindness, humility, and love. He believed in the power of prayer, trusted God’s plan through every season, and showed his family what it meant to walk with Christ. His greatest legacy was not found in worldly possessions, but in the trust and love he shared, the wisdom he gave, and the faith he passed on to those who knew him. He owned his own business for 50 years Tenderette Steak Company. He was a hard-working man who employed his family and was an awesome butcher all his life. Gid retired in December 2025.
He was a devoted father whose love was steady and unconditional. He encouraged us, prayed for us, and reminded us that with God, all things are possible. His strength, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith will continue to guide us even though he is no longer by our side.
Though we will miss him deeply, we rejoice in God’s promise that those who believe in Christ have eternal life. We take comfort in knowing that this goodbye is only temporary, and one day we will be together again.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Dad, thank you for loving us so well, for pointing us to Jesus, and for showing us what a life of faith looks like. We love you, we will miss you every day, and we thank God for the gift of having you as our father. Mark, Tina and Tommy
Until we meet again, rest peacefully in the arms of our Savior.
