Heather Danielle Self

Heather Danielle Self, 37, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Stephens County.  Graveside services will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10 a.m. in Wray Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Heather was born July 24,1985 in Abilene.  Heather was a joyful soul who lived life to its fullest, and did it in her own adventurous and unique way. She loved lake life, riding her sea-doo, gardening, and especially her dog Chevy. She was compassionate and touched many lives during her time here with us. 

Survivors include: daughter, Kingsley Richey of Abilene; mother, Wendy Brown and husband, Heath of Madisonville; father, Rob Ward and wife, Jamie of Olney; brothers, Hagen Ward and wife, Taylor of Whidbey Island, WA and Ty Self and wife, Cheyanne of Barnhart; grandparents, Wanda Harris and husband, Frank of Newcastle, David and Wanda Ward of Graham, and Janie Self Dillard of Nocona, and close friends Dwaine Cook and Shane Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, JA Sloan and aunt, Cindy Strawbridge. 

Memorials may be made to Beyond Faith Hospice in Graham.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
