Janie Melissa Daub, 54, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home in Graham.  Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in Faith Center Assembly of God.  Burial will follow in Jean Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

 

Janie was born February 10, 1968 in Fort Worth to Irma Geraldine (Feemster) Barrett and Jimmy Ray Whitlock.  She married David Larry Daub November 21, 1997 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  Janie loved going on many adventures, and her husband David made sure they were able to do exactly that.  From the mountains in Colorado to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, camping at state parks, and even the local lake where she could spend all summer making friends and playing cornhole.  She was always the life of the party, just wanting everyone to have the best time.  Her whole life revolved around her husband, her dogs Maggie May and Bella, and being the best Bambam she could be to her grandchildren.  She is so loved and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

 

Survivors include: husband, David L. Daub of Graham; daughters, Christy Lopez and husband, Johnny Lopez, Jr. of Fort Worth, Camie Johnson of Graham, Candice Johnson of Graham, Chelsea Johnson Daub and spouse, Heather of Graham, and Jennifer Daub Bright of Moore, Oklahoma; sons, David “Scotty” Daub of Graham and Nathan Daub and wife, Kaycie of Iowa Park; mother, Irma Barrett and husband, David of Graham; siblings, Rhonda Underwood and husband, Billy of Graham, Marvin Whitlock of Fort Worth, Jimmy Don Whitlock and wife, Shalisa of Graham, David Whitlock and wife, Dianna of Graham, Chance Barrett and wife, Stacey of Lubbock, Trevor Barrett and wife, Audra of Graham, and Tracy Barrett of Jean; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a myriad of nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy R. Whitlock, sister, Stacy McGuire, brother, Michael Haupt, grandparents, Otis and Thelma Feemster, William and Luzelle Whitlock, and Johnny and Rachel Barrett and a child, angel baby.

 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
