Jay Shipley

John “Jay” Walter Shipley, 75, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Graham.

Jay was born May 24, 1949 in Levelland to the late John “Shorty” Maxfield and Floye Iree Shipley. He worked in the automotive industry and enjoyed fishing, hunting and football.

Survivors include: daughter, Mandy Montgomery and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Natalie, Carson, and Tripp Montgomery; nephew, Terry Shipley; niece, Cheere Behrendt; numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Shipley and sister-in-law, Clovis Shipley.
