Jerry Keith Gilmore, 66, of Graham, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Christ in Bryson, and afterward a visitation and sharing of memories at the Bryson Senior Citizens Center.

Jerry was born February 24, 1949, in Olney, TX to the late Barnie and Janie Gilmore.  He grew up in Bryson and graduated from BHS, as salutatorian.  He then attended H C Lewis Electronic School in Oklahoma City and shortly afterward joined and served two years in the United States Army, stationed in Germany.  Jerry became a talented, skillful carpenter and was very well liked and respected.  He loved his profession and took pride in his craftsmanship.  Jerry will be remembered for being quick to give a laugh and for his love of telling stories.  He was also a talented artist.  Jerry was a member of the Church of Christ and a devoted supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch.

Survivors include a brother, Barnie Gilmore of Georgetown, TX, and three sisters:  Gayle Pratt and husband Preston of Jacksboro, TX; Lauren Staley and husband Robert of Falcon, CO; and Jan Rowe of Ft. Worth, TX.   Jerry also had many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews and one great grand nephew whom he loved dearly as well as many cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to; St. Jude's Children Hospital or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
