Jimmie Dale Westerman, Sr.

Jimmie Dale Westerman, Sr., 79, passed away Thursday July 9, 2026 in Graham. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 14, 2026 at Graham Church of God. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham.

Jimmie was born September 14, 1946 in Graham to the late Margaret Genice (Wilkins) Westerman and Arlin Dale Westerman. Jimmie married Carolyn Rogers February 6, 1964 in Graham. They shared more than 62 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, love and family.  He was an employee of Texas Highway Department for 25 years and a member of Graham Church of God. Above all else, Jim loved the Lord, his devoted wife, and his family with his whole heart. He found great joy in cheering on the Texas Rangers and reminiscing about his days playing ball. He loved making memories with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His legacy of unwavering love will be treasured by all who knew him.

Survivors include; wife, Carolyn Westerman of Graham; daughter, Charla Beggs and husband Rowdy of Denton; son, Jimmy Westerman, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Vernon; six grandchildren, Danielle and Shelby Bright, Emily and Justin Guthrie, Aubree and Clayton Handlin, Tatum Westerman, Wyatt Westerman and Michael Beggs; four great grandchildren, Ava Bright, Drew and Claire Guthrie, and Addisyn Handlin; sister, Linda Armstrong and husband Willie of Graham; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Family Visitation will be Monday July 13, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
