Joann Reedy

Joann Reedy, 86, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Graham. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Pioneer Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joann was born on July 5, 1935 in Graham to JC Jackson and Adele Hinson. She married Jimmy Reedy on July 28, 1953 in Graham, he preceded her in death on May 3, 2014.  Joann was a former employee of GISD working in the Administration Office.  She was an active member of First United Methodist Church.

Joann is survived by her daughter, Elaine Reedy and Phil Lane of Woodson, son; Danny Reedy and wife Dianna of Prosper, grandchildren; Kristin Guajardo and husband Eric, Andy Reedy, and Michael Reedy and wife Christina, great grandchildren; Abigail Reedy, Kyle Reedy, Austin Reedy, and Ryan Reedy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, JC Jackson and Adele Hinson, stepmother Helen Skinner, and husband, Jimmy Reedy.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made in Joann’s name to First United Methodist Church, choir department or Samaritans.
