Jowell Mark Bailey

Jowell Mark Bailey, 64, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Possum Kingdom Lake. A celebration of life will be held at Veale Creek Cemetery at a later date.

Mark was born October 18, 1960 in Olney to Shirley Ann Garrison and Jowell Sloan Bailey. Mark enjoyed spending time with his soul mate Becky Barker, Mark loved working on his old cars with his son bye acceptance Chris Barker and enjoyed his children also Dalton & Cariann Barker, He Loved his Family and enjoyed spending all holidays with them, He also loved his cats which he took in often as strays or Farrell and gave them a good loving home with plenty to eat! He was a great carpenter and boat restorer, Loved his music and a little beer! He will be greatly missed!

Survivors include, best friend and soul mate, Becky Barker of Graford her son Chris Barker mother, Shirley Hargrave and husband, Wayne of Cisco; sister, Karen D. Bunch and husband, Jay of Possum Kingdom Lake. Nieces Wendy Jobe, Stacy Belsher of Granbury Tx and Three great nephews. Ramsey Salas, Addison Jordan and Major Wellborn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jowell S. Bailey, brother, James S. Bailey and grandmother, Nancy Rachael “Granny” Bailey.
