Juanita Rogers left this world on Thursday, January 15, 2026 for her Eternal Home in Heaven.
Juanita was born with her twin sister to Franklin Guy Miller and Thelma Neill Miller on September 02, 1937. Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Harbor Chapel at Possum Kingdom Lake with a celebration of life at 3 p.m.
Juanita graduated from Graham High School in 1955 and married Barney Lee Flowers, her high school sweetheart. Barney was in the Navy and the young couple moved to San Diego, California. They eventually moved back to Texas where they were blessed with a daughter, Linda Diane. Tragically Barney was killed in an industrial accident which left Juanita a widow at the age of 25.
In 1966 Juanita went to work for TU Electric at the power plant in Graham where she served as a secretary and eventually as office manager. She served TU Electric for 26 years of dedicated service.
Due to her love of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Juanita and her husband, Jimmy Rogers, sold their home in Graham and moved to Alto, New Mexico in 1993.
Juanita and Jimmy thrived in the cool mountain community. They enjoyed hiking, golf, time with friends and the horse races. Juanita was an avid reader and loved her quite time reading on the deck in the cool mountain breezes listening to the hummingbirds and bird watching. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles. In 2007 she lost her beloved Jimmy.
Juanita was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ruidoso. She was a volunteer at the Ruidoso Public Library.
Due to health issues Juanita moved to Weatherford, TX in 2019 to be closer to family. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Linda Roberts-Hemberger and her husband, Doc Hemberger of Possum Kingdom Lake. Her sisters Annie Belle Burdick of Graham, Joyce Hinson of Graham and Shirley Miller of Arlington, WA. Her brother, Dr. Howard Miller and Michael Glaser of Austin, TX. Also surviving are two grandsons, Jacob Waggoner and wife, Morgan. Alex Waggoner and wife Sandi. She is also survived by three great grandchildren Samuel, William and Lydia Waggoner. A host of nieces and nephews are also her survivors.
She was predeceased by her twin sister, Franklin Oleta age 3 moths. Husband Barney Lee Flowers and Husband James "Jimmy" Rogers. Parents Guy and Thelma Miller, sister Helen Waldrop, brother-in-laws G.D. Hinson and Don Burdick. Nephews Michael Don Burdick and Jeff Loftin.
