Katherine Brown Scheriger

Katherine Brown Scheriger, 86, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 at her home in Loving. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery.

Katherine was born January 28, 1939 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late Agnes (Alexander) and Albert Howard, Sr. She married Jesse Brown, Jr. in 1964 in Fort Worth and he preceded her in death October 7, 2007. Katherine loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include; children, Janice Howard of Graham, Michael D. Brown and wife Amlier of Graham, Charles Ray Brown and wife Tammie of Champaign, Illinois, Jesse Brown III and wife Pamela of Hudson Oaks, Florence Brown, Jackie Austin, and Anthony Charles Brown all of Alexandria, LA; sisters, Deborah Dumars and Jackie Allen of Alexandria, LA; brothers, Albert Howard, Jr., James T. Howard, Benjamin Howard, Rodney Howard, and Darren Howard; 17 grandchildren.
