Kenneth Atwood

Kenneth Atwood, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at PK Lake.  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Murray Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born July 24, 1930 in Graham to the late John Euel and Annie Beuras (Shahan) Atwood.  He married Jessie Louise Golden September 16, 1951 in Murray.  Kenneth was employed at Ashtola Exploration and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Graham.

Survivors include: wife, Jessie Atwood of Graham; daughters, Betsy Henderson and husband, Malcolm of Graham, Judy Fambro and husband, Randy of Strawn, and Janet Lynn and husband, Jeff of Noel, Missouri; sons, Billy Atwood and wife, Cynthia of Graham and Gary Vaughn and wife, Debbie of Kempner; sister, Ann Logan and husband, Johnnie of Graham; brother, Bill Atwood and wife, Patsy of Jean; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by brother, Don Atwood.

Memorials may be made to Virginia's House or a charity of choice.

Family visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
