Kenneth "Buzz" Brandes

Kenneth "Buzz" Brandes, age 54, passed away in his home in Graham on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Buzz was born on March 22, 1967 in Winchester, Indiana to Donald Eugene Brandes and Beverly Ann Hendren. On December 5, 1987 he married the love of his life, Reah Steagall, in Ramona, California.

Buzz was right at home in his community of Graham and proud of his plumbing business, Blue Saber Plumbing. He was passionate about his company and was loyal to all of his customers. He was an avid music lover, specifically of rock and blues. He enjoyed watching football and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan.

Buzz is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Reah Brandes of Graham; his children, Dale Voss of Weatherford, Jessica Voss of Weatherford, and Shilah Johnson of Graham; grandchildren, Carli Brandes, Mya Johnson, and Lola Voss; sisters, Margaret Talbot, Dorothy McKibben, Sally Brandes, and Rebecca Blevins; and brothers, Fred Brandes, Donald Brandes, and his best friend, Norman Talbot.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
