Lana M. Dixon

Lana M. Dixon, 64, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 in Graham. Funeral will be held Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lana was born September 19, 1945 to Barbara Lavell Daily Smith and the late Burton O. Smith in Graham. Lana married Tommy Dixon May 28, 1963 in Jean, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1996. Lana was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of Graham. Lana was a retired private duty sitter.

Survivors include; mother, Barbara Smith of Graham; sisters, Sharon Smith of Moore, Oklahoma and Mary Veitenheimer and husband Urvan of Windthorst; two grandsons, Eric and Derek Bridges of Graham; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Lana was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonia Bridges and a son, Steve Dixon.

The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
