Linda Kay Compton

Linda Kay Jones Compton, 71, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Graham.  A causal gathering to remember and celebrate Linda will be held February 17, 6:00 p.m. at Oldham and Associates Law Office, 1106 Travis Street Suite 120, Wichita Falls, TX.

Linda was born January 23, 1946 in Electra to the late Raymond Wendell and Bertha Mae (Gardner) Jones.  She married Gary Compton of Iowa Park March 27, 1965 and he preceded her in death in 1974.  Linda graduated from Electra High School and was a successful court reporter in Wichita Falls, TX for over 30 years. Linda was a great friend to everyone and will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Survivors include: daughters, Kelly Ann Ellison and Billy of Connecticut, Debra Kay Compton of Wichita Falls and Kerri Lynn Maier and Garth of Tyler; brother, David Jones and Sue of North Richland Hills; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, special friend, Barry Richardson, and her faithful dog Lacy.

Linda was preceded in death by her older brother Gary Wendell Jones of Grand Prairie, TX.
