Linda Massey

Linda Joyce Massey, age 82, passed away on January 13, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1943, to Lola (Sherrill) Spradling and Wilburn Spradling.

Linda was a woman of deep kindness and unconditional love. She accepted others without judgment and had a gentle spirit that made those around her feel welcome and cared for. Her love for family was unwavering, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, James Pittman (Mirka); her grandchildren, Valarie Pittman, Autumn Sago, Jessica Koenig, Tracy Pittman, and Jimi Pittman; and her great-grandchildren, Dawson, Malikai, Alicia, Nathaniel, Connor, and Marcus. She is also survived by her sister, Debra Wilson; her nephew, Jacob Miller (Vanessa); her niece, Angie Kurtis; her great-niece and great-nephews, Mariah, Nathan, and Warren; as well as extended family members and many dear friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lola and Wilburn Spradling, and her brother, Ronald Spradling.

Linda found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life. She was a devoted Elvis fan, a collector of snow globes and treasured knickknacks, and loved classic films featuring Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, and John Wayne, as well as holiday movies. She had a fondness for the color purple, yellow roses, painting, and crafting — hobbies that reflected her creative and thoughtful nature.

Above all, Linda will be remembered for her loving heart, her compassion for others, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
