Lois Hearne

Lois Hearne, 97, passed away Thursday October 22, 2026 in Wichita Falls. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Monday October 26, 2026 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery in Loving, Texas.

Lois was born November 6, 1928 in Wise County, Texas to the late Josie Rosie (McDaniel) Moody and William Coran Moody. She married Lee Winston “Poke” Hearne May 28, 1947 in Graham. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2013.

Survivors include; sons, Ray Hearne and Georgia Neff of Loving, Darrell Hearne and wife Debbie of Graham; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren,28 great great grandchildren; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by brothers, O.C. Moody, Louis Moody, Bill Moody, Bud Moody, and Charles Moody and sisters, Blodwen Foster, Etta Poland, Ann Nichlos-Bergman, Doris Musgrave, and Ruth Hardin.

Family visitation will be Sunday October 25, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
