Luther Robert Neves, Jr.

Luther Robert Neves, Jr., 67, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Graham.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Luke was born July 18, 1954 in Jacksboro to the late Mildred Opal (Phillips) and Luther Robert Neves, Sr.  He was a man who had a big personality and loved to share it with everyone. He was quick to laugh and loved to make people laugh, especially with blonde jokes. He was a lover of knives and showing off his collection. He was always willing to share his knowledge of how to clean, store, sharpen and throw them. He loved his family and was proud of every member. He always had a big hug ready for all of them and spent countless hours in service to them and anyone who needed help. Mostly, he was always striving to be like Christ. He knew and loved the Savior and was ever growing his testimony. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. 

Survivors include: daughters, Mona Watts and husband, Dwayne of Coleman, Sharri Ashley and husband, Greg of Loving, and Tiffany Dodson and husband, Charlie of Tolar; sister, Joyce Bermudez and husband, Frank of Gilbert Arizona; grandchildren, Branden, Amanda, Ryan, Victoria, Destini, and Chase; great grandchildren, Brayden, Hailey, Paisley, Cameron, Aubree, Kaleb, Ryder, Everly, Avery, and Theo; nieces, nephews and their children. 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Sue Johnson.
