Lydia Bernhardt

Lydia Darlene Bernhardt, 68, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at her home in Graham.

Lydia was born October 9, 1957 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James Laws and Mildred Marie (Brown) Coleman. She was a loving caring strong-willed individual who loved her family very much and loved spending time with them. Lydia was over the moon when she had her granddaughter Bethany and even more so when she had her two great grandchildren, Emery and Myles. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews Tammy, Nikki, Heleigha Serenity and Grayson, her ride or die as she would always say and her niece, Shera and kids and let's not forget how much she loved her sons James and William Ridge.

Survivors include: sons, James Ridge of Dallas and William Ridge of Dallas; sister, Kathy Coleman of Dallas; grandchildren, Bethany Ridge of Dallas and JR Ridge of Dallas; great grandchildren, Emery Reed of Dallas and Myles Dunn of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Pamela Powell and Sandy Coleman and brothers, Larry Coleman and Bobby Coleman.
