Mary Jim House

Mary Jim House, 96, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mary Jim was born December 28, 1916 in Bryson to the late James Weldon and Nancy Louise (Henderson) Kinder. She married G.C. "Chick" House June 15, 1940 in Bryson. He preceded her in death April 28, 2004. Mary Jim graduated from High School in Bryson and graduated from North Texas University. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Women, Modern Martha Sunday School Class, and the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle.

Survivors include: daughter, Charlotte Williams and husband Bobby of Graham; son, Jim House and wife, Sandra of Graham; grandchildren, Shelley Sokolosky and Jim Bob Williams; great grandchildren; Taylor, Derek, and Alex Sokolosky, Braden and Keirstin Williams.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Lance House in 2011.
