Mary Ann Pruitt
Mary Ann Pruitt, 58, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009 in Wichita Falls, after a battle with cancer. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Mary Ann was born on January 5, 1951 in Olney to the late Ernest and Mary (Cherry) Pruitt. She was raised in Olney and was a longtime resident of Graham and Lake Graham. She worked for Graham Magnetics for over twenty years and for Vista Tech Media and Town and Country Sales. She loved fishing, good music and good friendships. She was loved and will be sorely missed by many.
Survivors include: nephew, Jason Pruitt of Graham; her companion, Gloria Smith Bragg of Graham; uncle, H.E. Pruitt and wife Erjuana of Perry, Oklahoma; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Pruitt of Newcastle.
Memorials may be to the Humane Society of Texas.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
