Melissa Pitcock, 65, passed away in Fort Worth Thursday February 5, 2026. She will be interred at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
Melissa was born October 29, 1960 in Graham to the late Jackie and Roy Pitcock, Sr. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth although Graham was always "home."
Melissa loved being with and taking care of children. She was instrumental in helping raise Jeff, Ryan, Bailey & Jordan. Being with her nieces and nephews was probably her greatest joy. She also loved people and had a passion for meeting more. It was important to her that you were compared to a princess, or a handsome movie star or just a wonderful person. We all know that Melissa had a fiery spirit and a deep loving heart. Everyone who really knew Melissa, knew she was a staunch Republican and she didn't mind telling you about it. At an early age, she taught swimming lessons and worked at the Graham Public Library. And when she moved to Fort Worth, she worked as a church nursery attendant and loved singing in the church choir for many years. One of Melissa's passions was reading books on history, law and Star Trek. And If we ever needed to know what was going on with the family or in the news, we would call Melissa. We could always get a full update, and a few opinions thrown in for free.
Survivors include; sisters, Lindy Williams and husband Ron of Fort Worth, Allison Adams and husband Bill of Aledo; brother, Roy T. Pitcock, Jr. of Graham; nephews Jeff Eubank & wife Megan; their children Ben, Lily & Hamlin; Ryan Eubank & wife Melissa; their children Hailey Kay & Thomas; nieces Bailey Palmer & husband Ty; their children Braxton & Talan; Jordan Lambert & husband Alex; and many wonderful cousins and friends.
The Family ask that memorials be made to: Hero House, 611 South Street, Graham, Texas 76450 or American Diabetes Association, P O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
