Michelle Lowrey

Michelle Annette Lowrey, 65, passed away on the Lord's Day, February 8th, 2026 in Graham. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12th from 5pm to 7pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Graham, TX. Memorial Service will be Friday, February 13th at 11:00am at the Graham High School Gymnasium.

Michelle was born in Orlando to the late Thomas Gagnier and wife Teresa on August 30th, 1960. She graduated in the class of '78 from Bishop Moore Catholic School in Orlando and went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in chemistry from Emory University in Georgia and her Masters in geology at SMU.

After completing her masters, she moved to Graham where she settled and had two children, Robert and Johnny. In the midst of raising two busy boys, she managed to make time for serving her community, hobbies, and activities with family.

She was a teacher at Graham High School for over twenty years where she taught chemistry, physics, geometry, geology, meteorology, oceanography, and founded its first engineering program equipping students in robotics, rockets, and civil engineering. She taught ESL (English as 2nd Language) and was always eager to use her Spanish to make her students feel welcome. She participated in Bible Study Fellowship, served faithfully in her local church, and cooked countless meals to share with others. She prayed and loved tirelessly.

Michelle was an avid knitter, podcast/audio book devourer, Lego & K-Nex master, and a most enthusiastic and joyful Ita (abuelita). Michelle knew the joy of her Savior Jesus and was always eager to share Him and His joy with others.

Michelle is survived by her mother Teresa Gagnier of Atlanta, her four siblings, Tom Gagnier & wife Jill of Atlanta, Mike Gagnier and wife Kathy of Orlando, Cheryl Hadian and husband Shahin of Knoxville, Maria Curry and husband Owen of Angel Fire, her two sons, Robert Antle and wife Amber of Austin, and Johnny Antle and wife Christy of Charlotte, and five grandchildren: Joshua Antle, Kara Antle, Avery Antle, Ezra Antle, and Eleanor Antle.
