Nancy Story Mustian

Nancy Story Mustian,  81, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Funeral services will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Nancy was born September 25, 1937 in Hereford to the late Joseph Gardiner and Maude Elizabeth (Noland) Story.  She married her loving husband Roy Mustian October 12, 1963 in Lubbock.  Nancy loved being a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Nancy adored having her siblings and family together.  She was involved in a supper club, bridge club, hospital auxiliary and the First Baptist Church.  She loved giving and made sure that everyone was included.  Raising children brought her the greatest joy.  She loved attending school activities, sporting events, and 4-H activities.  Nancy was gifted with the ability and knowledge of decorating and used this gift in her home, antique stores and friend's homes.  She loved collecting antiques, gardening, cooking, and riding her John Deere lawn tractor especially with her grandchildren in her lap.

Survivors include: husband, Roy Mustian of Graham; daughter, Lisa Doan and husband Randy of Norman, Oklahoma, sons, Joe T. Mustian and wife, Dawn of Plainview and Michael R. Mustian and wife, Brandie of Brock; sisters, Mrs. Sandra Saul and husband, Honorable Judge Roland Saul of Hereford, Mrs. Joy McDowell of Amarillo, and Mrs. Jan Metcalf and husband, Stan of Bracketville; brother, Reverend Gary Story and wife, Carol of Wilmore, Kentucky; grandchildren, Logan Mustian and wife, Erin of Shallowater, Emily Doan of Norman, Oklahoma, Layne Mustian of Plainview, Myla Mustian and Maddox Mustian of Brock.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dr. Dan McDowell and a granddaughter, Chandler Reid Mustian.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or Young County Humane Society.
