Funeral services will be held at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, Texas on Saturday, August 9, at 10 a.m., with burial to follow at Pioneer Cemetery. Visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 8.

Pam was born in January, 1948, in Kermit, Texas, to Royce Loree Foster and Herman Kimble Foster. She was the oldest of three children, and the first-born grandchild to maternal grandparents John Roy and Thelma Harbin. Growing up in Kermit, Pam’s family lived next door to her grandparents, so she grew up extremely close to her grandparents and aunts and uncles – her aunts even considered her one of their sisters.

As a girl, Pam was a very happy child, often seen outside running and playing with some of her uncles, working as a cashier at her grandparents’ laundromat, or getting doted on by Thelma and John Roy. In school, Pam was the typical social butterfly, being more interested in talking in the classroom than doing her work! But she also enjoyed extracurricular school sports, especially volleyball.

In 1968, she met the love of her life, Harold, who became her husband later that year. From that day on, it was never just Pam or just Harold, it was always “Pam and Harold”; two halves that made a whole and could never be separated. The two soon started a family, and by 1978 had 3 children and had settled their lives in Graham, Texas.

Pam and Harold dedicated their lives to being servants of God and living their lives wholeheartedly with expressions of love, forgiveness, compassion and servitude. As members of the Redeemer Church in Graham, she and Harold graciously opened their home to their fellow parishioners for weekly Bible study, worship and testimony.

Pam’s greatest attribute was her devotion to God, her family and friends, and her community. She was a devoted wife to Harold for over 52 years - until his passing in 2021 - and a loving, supportive, caring, and nurturing mother and grandmother, always willing to make sacrifices so her family didn’t have to. She always brought so much love and tenderness into the household, and served as a role model to her children on the virtues of patience, forgiveness, happiness, and discipline.

She was very active in the community throughout her life, and developed many lasting friendships through her church activities and her participation in volunteer organizations. She truly was the type of person that never met a stranger, and would enjoy sitting and visiting with just about anyone. People who knew her often described her as a “sweet soul” and “kindhearted”. She will always be remembered for her positive attitude, warm smile, and gentle spirit.

Rest in peace, Pamela Jean Stinson. You brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. We will miss you forever.
