Patrick Putman

Patrick Putman, 58, passed away at a Plano hospital on February 16, 2023 after a brief illness. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00am on February 25, 2023 at Country Road Fellowship Church, 325-331 Arthurs Camp Rd., Graham TX.  His ashes will be interred at DFW National Cemetery at a later date.

Patrick was born February 3, 1965 at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas to Maxine Schoenewolf Putman of Gatesville and Luther Dewey Putman of Fort Worth. The family moved to Fort Worth when he was young and he grew up and attended elementary and middle school in the Diamond Hill neighborhood. He attended Eastern Hills High School from 1981-1984.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed at Balboa Naval Base in San Diego where he became a paramedic. Once he left the Navy, he came back to the DFW area and became a paramedic for AMR Services for many years.

Patrick loved music and was naturally, musically talented. He could play any instrument in spite of only ever having a few years of structured musical training.  He also had an incredible singing voice. After driving an ambulance for many years, he started a DJ and karaoke business in the DFW area.  He will always be remembered for his incredible singing voice and for the many weddings and events he hosted as a DJ.

In 2021, Patrick met Melinda Tull, and their relationship quickly blossomed.  Patrick and Melinda married April 20, 2022 and they settled in Graham.

Patrick will be best remembered for his love of life, his love of music and his beautiful singing voice. He had a big personality, an even bigger laugh, and he will be missed by many.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Melinda Putman, his mother Maxine Putman of Euless, his father, Luke Putman of Parumph, Nevada, his daughter, Abbey Campbell of Vancouver, Wa, 2 sisters, Lisa Kalmbach and husband Al of Fort Worth, and Cathey Putman of Euless.  He is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and one great-niece.

The Family would like to thank Patrick's friends and church family for their prayers, support, and care for Melinda during this difficult time.  Any memorials can be made to Country Road Fellowship Church, P.O. Box 997, Graham, Texas 76450.
