Ray W. Stewart, 84, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in Graham. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in Long Branch Cemetery in Nocona. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Graham. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ray was born on June 5, 1925, in Montague County to the late Leonard Athol "Bug" and Lota Fanny (Pemberton) Stewart. He married Alice Louise Boling on January 1, 1949, in Albany. She preceded him in death on September 8, 2006. Ray was a former resident of Pampa before moving to Graham in 2003. He was an honorary member of the Graham Evening Lions Club.

Survivors include: daughters, Kathy Guinn and husband, Neal of Graham and Carolyn Stroud and husband, Hugh of Graham; brothers, J.P. Stewart and wife, Corky of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Burr Zachary of Santa Monica, CA; grandchildren, Rhendy Mullins, Amy Stone, Nathaniel Guinn, Allison Guinn, Paul and Ben Stroud, Zack Steele, and Sara Hill; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Jonathan Mullins and Jackson Stone.

He was preceded in death by brothers, W. E. "Red" Stewart, Alton Stewart, Roy Stewart, Jim Stewart, and F.M. "Smokey" Zachary.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Graham or the Graham Regional Hospice.
